It's been awhile. I'm going on a cruise on the MS Noordam which is apart of the Holland America Cruise Line. I'm extremely excited as this is my 5th or 6th visit to Alaska. I have been to all of these ports before but I still find Alaska to be one of the most exciting places to visit. For more information on my ship, visit the link listed above. (Alaska is a hyper link.) Here is my Itinerary and a map.

Sunday Seattle
Monday At Sea
Tuesday Glacier Bay
Wednesday Juneau
Thursday Sitka
Friday Ketchikan
Saturday Victoria B.C. (Busch art Gardens)
Sunday Seattle
Here is some basic info on my ship. The MS Noordam's maiden Voyage was in 2006. It has a cruise capacity of 1918 guests with a gross tonnage weight of 85,000 tons. The length of this ship is 951 feet and it is registered in the Netherlands. Here is a link for a virtual tour of the ship. Tour
On a separate note, the Empress of the North Stern wheel paddle ship that I was recently on ran aground in Alaska last week. What a shame. This was a beautiful American Riverboat that was an absolute jewel. I'm keeping my personal flotation device within arms distance on this trip. Glacier Bay could be an extraordinarily cold swim. :) LOL. Didn't Leo and his costar freeze to death when the Titanic went down after hitting a glacier? Fortunately I have never experienced anything remotely negative while traveling. (I'm knocking on a wood desk as I type this blog).
I will write more and update the blog as my journey unravels.
